Hi.
I played Myst when it first came out and have just bought the complete series from 1 to 5.
They are all DVD roms and the exact box title is 'Ubisoft Exclusive Myst complete.
I bought it here in Switzerland and it states games and handbooks in German on the back.
Now I know the English versions are on the discs becuase I can see them but I can not get the autoloader to let me install in English.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible? if so how?
I tried the German ubisoft site first but get no reply.

Welcome to the Forums!

Assuming that you're running Win XP, try the following:
-- a. Log into Windows with full Administrator privileges, and close all open applications. Do NOT boot up with the Myst DVD in the drive.
-- b. If you’ve installed Myst, remove the game using Control Panel's Add or Remove Programs.
----- 1. Click on Start > Control Panel, then double-click Add or Remove Programs.
----- 2. In the Currently installed programs box, click on the Myst entry.
----- 3. Click on Remove (or Change/Remove).
----- 4. If prompted to confirm removal of the program, click Yes.
----- 5. Close Control Panel back to the Desktop, reboot, and log into Windows with full Administrator privileges. Close all open applications.
-- c. Place the Myst DVD in the drive, and allow it to spin up to speed. If it autostarts, exit back to the Desktop.
-- d. Click on Start > Run.
-- e. Browse to Setup.exe on the Myst DVD, and double-click on this file to put it in the Open: box.
-- f. Click on OK to start the installation process.
----- 1. If there's an option to install in English, select it. (If not, quit now and post back for possible further things to try.)
----- 2. Otherwise, accept the install defaults whenever possible.
-- g. Follow the installation Wizard's instructions. If you don't accept the install defaults, make very certain to correctly set all of the install paths. Double-check your entries for typos!
-- h. When installation is complete, close back to the Desktop.
-- i. Click on the Myst icon to start the game.
