Is the game not working properly in Selenitic Age, or are you stuck there? It does take a bit of work to get out of there. Wink2 Let us know how things are working.

Hi,
I had the same problem trying to match the sounds, so what I did was to count the keys to the one I wanted, then moved the slider that amount. I did that with each note. Hope that helps.

Quite a few people had trouble with that spaceship organ, due to not being able to differentiate the different tones.

I probably had a saved game, but I would have had to re-install Real Myst to find out for sure. Also, file sizes running between 4MB - 5MB
would have taken a little bit of time for me to send, given that I'm on a modem.

Anyway... Enjoy Selenitic World. A number of puzzles to solve and paths to take. Wink2

Be sure to stick around for the day/night cycles, particularily in the mini Channelwood! Lovely place.

Unless you happen to have an overall hearing loss, it's actually easier than the spaceship organ/controls. With the Selenitic Age the door controls, you only have to listen for different sounds, not different tones. Good luck, and have fun.

Ok. Chilly here. 22deg F at 1:20am. 68deg F two days ago. Ah... weather in Missouri.

Good. You got past the door. Did you do the part after that?

Doing Riven next? The puzzles get a bit more complicted there, or spread out more at least.

look at everything very closely. There may be a place (or two!) that you didn't realize were doors...

haha, exellent, the secret chambers(rooms) contain nothing, they are empty. i think that the person who sent me the saved game for the selenitic age, had already done the mechanical age, hence the reason why they aren't there. what would be brilliant is if someone could send me the mechanical age, with both pages ready, the reason why i ask is that i'm so darn close to finishing this game, that it's driving me nuts. i've done channelwood already but will do it again if need be. i'm desperate someone pleeeeeeeeeeease help me lmao Too Happy

I'm not sure each saved game has the state of the other ages contained in the saved file. I'll look to see what I have, or maybe you'll want to start over from the beginning? Veryhappy Veryhappy Veryhappy Veryhappy

Ok. I'll stop laughing now. Indifferent

Maybe someone else has the file? You'd have to wait a little bit for me to generate one. I'll let you know.
