Hi everyone!
A few days ago I thought "why not to play Myst again?"
So I tried to install it.. It says "installation complete succesfuly" though it took only a few seconds =/
But when I try to play, Windows can't find the program. Iv'e entered the game's folder and there were only 2 .gif files- the game's icon and Cyan's logo icon!!
what should I do? Thanks

If you have more than one hard drive, to which drive are you installing MME?

9. Paste the contents of the file from the Clipboard into a new post in your existing topic (or start a new topic, if necessary):
-- a. With the mouse cursor at the upper left corner of the Quick Reply to: box, type in any further details of your problem.
-- b. Position the mouse cursor at the left margin and one line down from your explanation, then right-click.
-- c. Click on Paste in the resulting menu.
-- d. Click on Post Now.

If the manufacturer and exact model number of your PC aren't shown under 'System Information' (System Manufacturer and System Model) at the top of the report, also include that information in your post. Suggestions:

1. You have 512 MB of installed system memory (RAM), which is the bare minimum that’s sufficient to run Win XP at all well. Unfortunately, you also have a GeForce 6200 TurboCache video chipset.

“TurboCache” means that this video chipset sucks up part of your system RAM for its own use, with the result being that you don’t really have 512 MB of memory available for Windows. That makes Windows slow, balky, prone to strange glitches, etc., etc.

You should install at least an additional 512 MB of system RAM. Whether the additional RAM solves your MME installation problem or not, your entire system will run *much* better!

2. Install the latest video driver from NVIDIA for your video chipset, as detailed under Installing NVIDIA Drivers in Myst Masterpiece Edition and realMyst: Installing Video Drivers With Win XP. What you should install is ForceWare Release 162.18, carefully following the instructions. Be certain to install the latest end-user runtime release of DirectX 9.0c.
