I have no problem getting to the antenna tower in the middle of the lake but when i click on the doors, they swing open and shut immediately. the switches at the 5 sites are on. i have searched another "hint"site after weeks of frustration and there is no mention of any other action other than clicking on the doors to open them. any ideas why they won't stay open?? Are you playing Myst or RealMyst? I don't recall having to do anything to get those doors to stay open in Myst. Never played RealMyst. As a wild guess, try cleaning your CD with isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab. Maybe there is a speck of dust on it at that point in the game.

I'm playing realMYST; I suppose it's the updated version of the original. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try cleaning the CD and see what happens.
