I´m playing Myst MAsterpiece:
I´m in the clocktower trying to get the rings in the right position(221). I can´t get it right and the hint that you can hold the lever down to rotate one ring doesn´t work.
Who can help me solve it?

Holding one lever rather than clicking on it worked for me. Right now my machine won't work so I can't replay. Maybe some one else will show up and be able to offer a hint or two.

you can pull the lever to rotate a ring one position or hold it down a little longer to make it rotate 2 positions. Does that help?

Thanks for the tip. The last time I played it did not work, this time it did! I don't understand why it didn't work at first, but now I can move on in the game!
