Please help me. I have switched the lever in the hut to open the gate - but I cant open it to go down the spiral staircase!!! What am I doing wrong or could it be a glitch?? Ive been playing this months and dont want to start again right from the beginning.

From memory you have to go to the bottom and come up first? I forget - so long ago.

When the lever is pulled, there should be a quick video of the gate opening... you can just barely see it through the window... did you see it open?

Make sure you're actually trying to get through the door, not a wall..
(yes, I'm guilty of that.. tried to get through the wall of wood, and didn't see the opening on the other side!) |
