Hi, I purchased a new iBook G4 less than two moonths ago, and I've also recently acquired the Myst 10th Anniversary DVDs. I've installed all three games, and all three games run like ****. The transitions and animations skip way too much for a game that was made eleven years ago. I've discerned that it's probably not a problem with my Superdrive reading too slowly because I've been able to run Myst completely from the hard drive without use of the disc, and it still runs way too slowly. This is really driving me nuts. Any suggestions?
Running: iBook G4, 1.42 GHz 512mb RAM OS X 10.4.3 ATI Mobility Radeon 9550 |
