I am just about to quit !!! I have gone over the ship a dozen times trying to find a "panel in one of the red-lined walls" so I can turn on the submersible's lights. I found a compass on a cabinet in Achenear's room, turned it 130*, but nothing happoned. How do I find this "hidden wall panel"?

Well, Im starting Stoneship right now. But if you're stuck and all else fails, just use the hint buttons they have at the top of the screen.

Have you regenerated the lights back on? It'll be much easier to see if there is full power for the lights in the corridors down to the rooms.

The hidden panel will either be on the right or left side depending on which corridor you go through and it's about half way down to one of the rooms.

I found the "hidden" panel fairly easy. However, when I arrived at the chamber with the "compass" I wasn't surewhat to do. I tried pushing one of hte many buttons that line its perimeter, but every time i did that, the lights went out and an alarm sounded. I had to got badck restart the generator. So, something else needs to be done other than that, but I don't spy anything else to touch, push, pull or yell at in that chamber.

You need to figure out which is the right button (using the telescope up the stairs) and press it the first time you try.

Found it. Took a calculated guess and got it right. On to Channelwood!
