Hey...

How exactly do you set up the SDK for SP use? SDK.pdf only covers multiplayer but thats not what I want Frown

Well... you simply can't "map" for SP
unless you intend "mapping for the first demo released".

In that case, I did extract the materials, models, resource and scripts folders from DM .gcf files after creating a new mod in Source SDK.

I'm using the vbsp.exe vrad.exe and vvis.exe from EP1 to compile (set them in your hammer config and specify '-engine ep1' in the launch options of the Source SDK)

You will have to tweak the base.fgd of the MP SDK so that you'll be able to put npc, weapons and particles in maps.

Once compiled I use XVI32 to edit the 7th bit of the bsp file from 00 to 04.

Rename the map l00.bsp and copy it in the demo map folder (you'll have to copy materials and models you used in the demo folder too).

Bleh I did some mapping for the demo when it came out but thats suckage -_-

They have been constantly promising the SDK for well over a year and all we get is a crappy tweak guide which still leaves plenty of errors.

I want SP Maps!
