Is it possible to create a map from the generator and have teams playing in it?For example i want to make a 3 human controled players as team go against 5 computer controled oponnents,is that possible?if yes how do i do it?

I also would like to know how you make random team games. It's been very frustrating for my girlfriend and I because it seems like we're forced to play against each other.

I have a partial answer.

Use the random map generator to make a map that has the total number of players and other settings you want. (Make sure to choose the random towns setting so that you can choose any faction you want when you go to play the map!)

Save the map.

Open the map editor program.

click on the "file" tab in the window and select "open". Then find the random generated map you just saved and open it.

once it is loaded click the "map properties" button on the window. inside this window click on the "teams" tab.

check the "teams" box. click in the dot for the number of teams you want in the game(2-8). Now click in the dot next to each player for the team you want them to be in (remember there has to be at least one player assigned to each team). Click "OK".

select the "file" tab in the window. Click on "save as".

Enter the name you want to save the map as in the "file name" slot and then click "save".

If all went well you will now see the new map you made listed in the heroes multiplayer map list with the teams you set up.

The problem I have been having is that only some of the maps I have created this way have been recognized by heroes when I go to start a game(about half of them are recognized).

I am still hoping to get help/find out how to make them all show up.
