Hi, I've had EndWar for some time now, running on a HP dv9000 laptop. The laptop has an AMD Phenom 64 x2 processor and Vista 32-bit. I know this machine wasn't exactly built for gaming, but the problem I am having I doubt is the cause of a minor lack in performance.
Anyway, my main problem (this is all offline play, I have not even attempted TOW yet) is the length of time the game is taking to play. One in-game second is taking seven seconds of real-time. I'm making the assumption that this was not a feature in the game, and I don't see that the patch helped any. I tried bringing the display resolution down to 800x600, but it cause the game to stop all visual output and now only works (by "works" I mean the display is back, the "time delay" is not fixed) on other users. Any suggestions? P.S. - I'd have more technical specs if the PC was in front of me - I'll post graphics card specs later, but I do know it's nVidia's card. |

Okay, more specs.
I don't know why I said it was a Phenom processor, it's actually an AMD Turion 64 x2 TL-60. OS: Vista Home Premium 32-bit RAM: 3GB Model: HP Pavilion dv9700 Notebook PC Graphics card: nVidia GeForce 7150M/ nForce 630M, 64MB dedicated video memory. I think that's all the specs needed here... let me know if more info on the computer is needed. |

That laptop doesn't meet the minimum specs for the game.
That proccessor only runs @ 2.0Ghz, you need 3.0Ghz. Same problem with your video chip, the 7150m isn't supported and you need 256mb of video ram minimum. |

Oh well, it's the fastest machine we own. It's either that or an XP SP2 with a Pentium 4, which is obviously much lower on the specs line. It wouldn't even install on that machine.
