Hey, I've come to appreciate the game for what its worth, and its actually quite fun.
Okay first things first:
Anyone has problems with the American combat drones from the Command vehicle? They get stuck at a small road opening for the major part of the battle and just stay there. Can't re-issue orders or anything to get them moving.
@) how do you use the command vehicle? and how to rank it up. I have been able to win battles nicely without the command vehicle, so im wondering what its for.

I've had that issue crop up with most of the units to one degree or another. I find that if you send the retreat/evac order, give them a minute to move back then reissue the original order, they generally get through.

my use of the cv depends on the map, it's about 50-50 whether I bring it out or not. and I generally don't start out with it unless it's a map where sight lines are limited (usually urban areas). I find that gunships, or riflemen/engineers garrisoned in tall buildings/towers do just as well if not better.

I use the drones/Uav to recon and harass the enemy rifle/engineer and gunship units. it ranks up just like any other unit, and those drones do pretty well against riflemen/engineers out in the open.
