About this 3 minute rule fix, what happens if the game starts, and the enemy moves to evacuate, and the battle lasts less than 3 minutes?
What then? Does it count as a win/loss for the appropriate sides? This rule should be reduced to 2 minutes, or even 1, because it is still not fair to the players if the enemy starts a battle, then runs like a coward. It's still forcibly quitting, same as dashboarding, to avoid losing men in battle. This message has been edited. Although I do get very frustrated when people evacuate from the start of the match when playing against me. I think the 3 min rule is good, it at least allows players that are moderate and play for fun to avoid nerds that play this game like its their life.
If you join agianst someone who you know is going to kill your units because they are way more leveled up than you, then there should be a way out. Its actually a good balancing force cuz it gives an incentive for people not to kill units. I used to slaughter all european units but soon enough I became famous among the euros and no one would play me, everyone evacuated from the start. This caused me to stop killing units...unless they deepstrike that is. So yea, I see your point, but it does more good than bad. |
