I just got around to buying and downloading the Escalation Expansion Pack for Endwar on the 360 and can't find any of the content in the game - no maps, no units, no upgrades, nothing.

The Xbox automatically installs patches so I'm totally up to date with any fixes, but this is a first - I've heard Ubisoft have a bad reputation for software integrity, but this is crazy. If the DLC is fubar who's going to give me my money back, especially as Xbox are explicit about their 'no refund' policy?

Obviously I'd rather the expansion just worked, period, so if anyone can shed light on this I'd be grateful.

Don't mean to sound condescending, but are you sure you are looking in the right places, for example the pack only gave a upgrade to sgb tanks, euro transports and jsf gunships, the maps are only available in skirmish mode, not ToW or the solo campaign. It didn't add any thing else other then trophies, so I'm not sure what you mean by missing units.

I would try deleting all the data the game installed then re downloading(assuming like on ps3 you don't have to pay for it again) it and installing the rest. Don't expect anyone form ubi to give you a serious answer, if at all.

Sure enough - went to track down the file and it had an error message declaring it as incomplete (don't know how as the connection was never interrupted). Have started download again, which you can do at no extra charge on the 360.

Clearly the solution was pretty much as simple as 'turn it off and turn it on again', but I was too tired to make sense of it last night, so thanks for giving my brain a jump-start. I'll post later to say whether or not it succeeded.

Yep - all works fine now. Obviously a one off download glitch. Thanks again.

Hope you won't jump to conclusions about Ubi's "software integrity" next time ... Sounds like it was either connection, or HDD, or your Xbox ... or as you suggest, the occassional "noise on the line" that internet communications are sometimes prone to ...
