-infantry taking cover at uplinks do not aim directly at their targets when firing, rather, they fire straight over their walls in the direction of the wall itself
-infantry engaging enemy targets seem to damage their targets without firing -ordering an infantry unit in cover at an uplink to fire on an enemy well within its range will order that infantry unit to move and shuffle about in cover rather than opening fire on the enemy -infantry in cover (who do not have the active camo upgrade applied) do not fire on enemy forces the moment they come into range. Rather, they wait for about 50-100 meters before firing. -infantry in cover are able to damage enemy targets through terrain, such as rising hills or buildings -I find it amazing that infantry can fire on the walls or support columns of buildings in which enemy infantry are garrisoned and still damage those inside the structure, without firing on openings in buildings such as windows, doors, or the observation floors -there should be a way to have your infantry units who have active camo applied to return fire only in order to better remain covert, not just shoot everything that gets too close This message has been edited. THIS IS A GOOD THING! Seriously. Sometimes, many times, you just want your riflemen doing what they are doing, unnoticed. |

Yeah, agree. They're "ghosts" and you don't want them to give away their position right away. It's always nice seeing someone attack your riflemen with engineers. |

Ah, I'll recant on that one then. Rather then such, there should be a feature to have infantry hold their fire, and return fire only if they have the active camo upgrade, so as to remain covert. Initial post has been corrected to take this into account. They could do something like they have in Rainbow 6 with the Rules of Engagement thing. You could have a voice command like:
"Unit 6 stealth" and they'll hold fire unless fired upon. "Unit 6 go loud" and they'll fire on anyone in range. ____________________________________________________________ Lt. Colonel of the Spetsgruppa Vympel 8th Mechanized Battalion - "For the Motherland!" XBox Live GamerTag: Mr Nazraq |
