Suddenly, Engineers in the building to the right of the carrier ramp in the USS Reagan do not fire on enemy vehicles at the top of the ramp and just behind the crest.

It's like there's a giant blind spot that the enemy can use in "defilade" to fire on troops on the carrier deck, and not be hit by infantry with height advantage.
