I have installed this game multiple times and every tim I try to start it I get a black screen and the an message saying the the "program has encountered a problem and Windows will look for an answer", then nothing. The proble message that shows in windows is:

My system specs are:

AMD Athlon 64X2 6000+ 3.0GHZ
2 Gig RAM
DirectX 10
NVIDA Geforce 9800 GTX+ w/ 1 gig memory
Soundbaster X-Fi gamer sound card

This meets are specs for game, but it won't start.

My system meets spec for game but when i try to load, at best it comes up with an initial intro movie thing and then goes to a loading screen for 1/2 second then goes black and crashes to desktop say. "program has encountred a problem and needs to close". HELP!

Do you have a dot/period in the name of the install directory? That may be the issue. Check out the FAQ:

Tried to re install again and used the default settings for installing the game and still get the same message that there's a problem with the game.
That's it, tomorrow I take this game back for a refund, I have wasted enough time on this. I have tons of games on my system but never had this much trouble.

please it just started afdter i activated the windows headset link it worked intill i did tht so try somhow disabling it i havn't foudn a way yet but if u do plz tell me i only have had 3 days playing on it before it stopped

everyone I FOUND IT. after almost 6 hours of searching though different ways of making end war work with IT PEOPLE (my dad and brtother) we foiund the soltuion.

It's basically very easily but it does require an unintall. after uninstalling end war you reinstall it but it a different drive so not the C drive like you would do normally would but in any other drive. If u don't have a extra drive (mine was the D drive) then maybe u could buy one.

I tinhk this works by somthing ubisoft didn't think of is making it stop so in the new drive being there's nothing there nothing can stop it from working.
