The Endwar servers are down again. When attempting to log in to the TOW, the bogus message about my faction having lost "too many men" is displayed, and no games can be played. Several of my other friends have reported the same issue to me, so I know it's not an isolated problem.

Of course, it's supposed to be Double XP today, too. So not only are we missing out on Endwar, but we're missing out on another weekend of promotions as well. *sigh*

I hope somebody is looking into this. Any chance this will be fixed before end-of-turn, or should we not bother checking until tomorrow?

just typical... this happened two wekends ago during the first double xp weekend. we were told some sort of compensation was being looked into..... but no word of any has been recieved. here's how you can compensat me, fix the problem that is disrupting the ToW servers instead of just getting it back up and running long enough to make it thru e3. Also, show your customers some love with some news as to why this has happened twice within 3 weeks and maybe an appology while you're at it?

It was down all last weekend, except it came back up half way through Sunday. I love how they give the double XP weekend and then the ToW is down all but 1/2 a day of that over 2 weeks. They could at least extend the Double XP into the week for every day its down on the weekend. So if its down Saturday and half of Sunday then give us doble XP until mid Tuesday.

Yeah I commented in that other thread from last week about us not getting the compensation that QPK mentioned but got no response. We just got brushed aside as usual. They dont fix this, they messed up Reagan, they scrapped future releases, etc... what is Ubi thinking?!?! How is this good business sense?

Seriously though, how hard can it be to maintain a server? You guys dont have to fix anymore bugs, work on anymore DLC, and you dont have to work on "endwar 2". You guys have nothing else to do for this game but make sure the servers run smoothly, and you are failing at that simple task, wtf?

ubisoft, call up bungie, ask them how they maintain their damn servers. they have to deal with hundreds of thousands of people across the world, and they still maintain stability, and they don't have any damn 2-day outages!

oh, yeah, and they also talk to their fans and explain whats going on!

Jesus Christ Ubisoft you have one job for endwar, maintain the servers. You don't have to do anything else for the game, so how the hell are you ****ing up?

Its so sad though. This game has so much potential. It could have been up there with Halo and Gears if things were thought through all the way. Having stable servers alone would increase the player base, or at least stem the decline of it. With stable servers, most of the glitches would cease also (since most of them have their roots in lag). If this was released like 2 weeks later, more people would have bought it. I really do love this game, but it definitely needs better direction. I do tell my friends to try it, but they never stay on because of all the problems... just something for them to think about. Just a few changes can really turn this game from a nose dive into a gold mine.

this game has scrude up the so much the europeans had ragan but it gave us okepanoke instead and had the jsf be able to attack are air base. ubisoft has mest up the game and i knew the jsf got to moscow from the sever being down the last time this ****es me off they need to get their severs running better or buy new one with the millions of monney that they have.

This is a very self-centered view. While I'm perfectly willing to believe that Ubisoft is praying that more of us will stop playing so that they can officially drop support for their XBL servers or decommission them altogether, I don't think they care enough about the game to rig it for any faction.

In fact, everyone got shorted this time around. EFEC got pushed out of Reagan and all the way back to Copenhagen, and are left fighting assault on Springfield with no supports. Would you like to try to spin that as biased against JSF?

The only legitimate point here is that, once again, Ubisoft has failed to get out in front of a problem or to communicate effectively with what remains of the game's fan base. I doubt the marketing droids or Ubisoft executives care, though. *shrug*
