There has been no announcement. The last message from QPK that he hid in a thread said that no patch would occur before the 2nd week of February (and a patch that he did not mentioning fixing the host quitting errors).

again, i would like to point out that Ubi in shanghai is on vacation until the 29TH.

Now i want all of you to hold up your fingers and count with me. 27th, 28th, 29th. 2 DAYS LEFT. But since they will be going by their time and not ours, it is actually only about 10-12 more hours until the 29th, then 6 more until they wake up.

This is really just incompetence in the Ubisoft Shanghai office.

There is nothing sacrosanct about the Chinese New Years that offices are closed and nothing is done in them, in particular the Ubisoft Shanghai office. Ubisoft has more than once in the last few years, been offering prizes to people to visit the Ubisoft Shanghai office during the Chinese New Year. So - someone is in the offices to feed the hamsters.

I'm just looking forward to what the compensation will be for this. XD
