My PC is very good to play the game but my monitor is old and it doesnt support the defaut resolution set by the game when i install it. (i played the game before several mounhs with no problem but now i get same message whatever i try to start the game- blue screen saying H.V frequency out of range...(my monitor shut down but im hearing the sounds of the game) Someone help i need to know how to set up the resolution to 1024/ 768 from config files or another method to fix this...(and im with fresh copy of windows xp sp2 + fresh reinstalled game)

Yes ofcource that has nothing to do with my problem/ and i tryed running it at compatibalty mode 640x480 but that doesnt change anything

lol like i said i havent got any problems before and i played both singleplayer and online...(with this monitor and it supports 1024/768 resolution with not problem/ but after i done some upgrades to my pc (quad core cpu 4gb ram) i think that the game sets by defaut higher resolution than my monitor can handle)
Before i didnt have problems i think because it set defaut 1024/768...
Deam i hate games that dont have lunchers with video options to setup before start the game...
So anyone have an idea how to fix this ???

Lol while waitng for support i managed to solve my problem myself...
here is how it works if someone have this problem:
1/ locate the file PCOfEngine.ini (\Tom Clancy's EndWar\OfGame\Config)
2/ check if its read only and make sure read only option is removed
3/open it with notepad
4/change the resolution at the line with "!!!" without the "!!!" ofcource
5/Play the game
