I have purchased about 70 upgrades in ToW, not all my units can use them though. I have not earned the achievement for purchasing 60 upgrades.

Was this a new achievement in DLC and I need to buy 60 upgrades from its download date?

No. It just doesn't work. I have every upgrade available and still don't have it.

I got it since the first of January.

I got point of attack yesterday, but isn't it for winning and not the upgrades?

I have heard people saying that they bought every upgrade, didn't get the achievement for it, (and had bought some upgrades before the DLC). They claimed that when they changed faction (darn traitors!) and bought a few more upgrades, they got the achievement.

However, I haven't tested this myself. I have all upgrades for my faction, not acheievement, and an unwillingness to be a traitor

many achievements are broken, and we have no explanation as to why.

I think I meant to write the "Down to Size" achievement.

another solution may be the fact that dashboarding screws up your records and achievements

i just got my 20 victories achievement, and i realized that it only counts victories in battles which last longer than 3 minutes.

i suppose it IS to prevent people from boosting by having their opponents forcibly dashboard.
