Bia Hells highway

Good points

The designers and artists put an massive amount of work in looks amazing
You need to have some situational awareness
It will challenge your Tactical Awareness
Great for the players with a Napoleon complex
I actually enjoyed most of it and found myself replaying it.
Best sequence for me is the 88mm in the street with right and left flanking Germans

Bad points

Flank Flank Flank Predictable way of playing All you need to to is well Flank
Mg 42
Hospital seriously ! Needs a patch to cut sequence
Annoying bazooka truck sequence

Playability

single player
plays well on high spec pc
Multi player
good fun if you get a bazooka .
odd stance .Die hard Fans only !

General opinion

Could have done with being flanked by some Germans hiding behind you making better use of one map sequence where you think you have been flanked the Germans only to be surrounded.....probably should have sacrificed detail and drama for more time working on playability with more suprises .As strangely the entire army retreats well it sort of dies as one .Where are the crazed hidden German waiting behind doorways to stab you when you think you've won..oh and the game is obsessed American side would be cool if you could defend casino or be in Stalingrad as a freezing German who's gun jams and shakes a lot because of cold game directors need to lighten up .

Rating thinking man's crumpet .

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cod world at war

Good points

The banzai Charges are the scariest thing ever played edge of your seat stuff
killing the enemy is very bloody
lots if new AI body Capability
Not IQ intensive should appeal to the shooter market

Bad points

relentless assault you don't often get to look at the detail in maps unless you get shot a lot which is unlikely in stranded mode.
Strategy?
Mg42 slows frame rate to almost unplayable

Playability

single player keep playing it
plays well on high spec pc
Zombie mode at end is funny
Multi player
Works well

General opinion
You kind of feel immortal with the idiot indicator smooth game play its ideal for the crap day at office and need to blow off some steam if blood and guts is your stuff it will thrill you,The crazy banzai charge with the knife to the neck will leave you with restless night's

Just one question before I respond to this... what do the 2 above lines mean? what cut sequence and what the hell is the annoying bazooka truck sequence???

One more quick thing, you said that the banzai charges were the scariest thing? Really dude??? Go play silent hill or something. I looked at banzai charges as a chance to charge back at them with the shotgun...

How is BIA obsessed with the American side?? Because it does not jump around between 10 charcters like COD. T

*Two Characters

though I do agree with what you're saying, BIA is from an American POV and should stay that way. Cheers

I like the game. i like the Russian tank mission in it, the flametrower missions, and the fact you can call in a rocket-strike.

WoW turned out to be a really good game! it's a must have for the year 2008! Thumbs Up

I agree with Redd, a must have for anyone who enjoys the casual shooter or WW2 games.

I'm sorry, but I can't agree that WoW is anything but an empty shallow version of CoD 3 running on the Modern Warfare engine. Treyarch is far more capable than this tripe and we all know it. I'm sure that Activision convinced them to make it more to the CoD 4 crowds' liking, but come on...

BiA: HH is ten times the game that WoW is. The story, the characters and general atmosphere in the game is just so well thought out.

Sure, the multiplayer isn't as well done as it is in the past, but if I want good multiplayer, there are other games out there. What I paid for was a top notch story with excellent art direction and that is what I got.

I hope you all don't think I am being rude, just my .02.

Yes I did. Is there an issue with that or should I have cleared it with you first?

If you've nothing of worth to add to the comment I posted, leave it be and move on.

Thanks.

Thank-you. I'm not here for flaming or starting trouble, but I wish some people didn't have a comment for every little thing.

Hi Alex

Your probably correct. But thats doesnt change the premise. Hells Highway gives you the best Single player game without a doubt. But HH's Multiplay is Blah at best. Whereas Cod5 gives you a Blah single player. but a great multiplayer. In my case at least I wanted the best of both worlds.

Yeah actually I do have an issue with that, I'm not going to go spend 60 bucks on a game because it has cool artwork and a story but the gameplay sucks, I'm gonna buy something I know will be worth it in every aspect.

Great! Now that we've established that you can be happy with your game purchasing decisions, maybe we won't have to clear it with you and we can all be happy with our purchases without you chiming in like a toothing infant screaming in the background.

Now sit back at the children's table, the grownups are having a discussion.

Buddy, this is a forum where people discuss their opinions as you demonstrated

"I'm sorry, but I can't agree that WoW is anything but an empty shallow version of CoD 3 running on the Modern Warfare engine. Treyarch is far more capable than this tripe and we all know it. I'm sure that Activision convinced them to make it more to the CoD 4 crowds' liking, but come on...

You threw out your argument and I threw out mine and now your telling me to roll over and stop defending what I believe to be true. A little disrespectful dont you think? Especially after you saying..."I'm not here for flaming or starting trouble"

No, I don't think that it is disrespectful at all. What I find disrespectful is your lack of reason. I said I liked a game and stated the reasons why and you felt it was your civic duty to bash that reasoning to spam your opinion.

Face it, we aren't all going to get along.

If you don't like HH, then fine, I can accept that. But when you blatantly have a biased distaste for the game and spam another game that is more to your liking, it is a disservice to the community that just wants to discuss the game these forums were named for.

I wouldn't have a had a problem with you if you'd just kept your mouth shut. But you didn't just chime in with me, you chimed in your overflowing opinion with about five different people on a thread two places up.

Give it a rest and visit www.charlieoscardelta.com and be with your ilk.

I'm finished with you.

Lack of reason? If you think I lack reason go here

http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/7241006264/m/1271083407

I have explained all my points in this thread and feel free to see them for yourself.

Let me clarify, I don't "dislike" BIA HH, I was dissapointed with it when I bought it, especially after the original ones were my favorite games. If you read my other thread you'll see that I originally started that thread because I noticed that many people on this forum felt the same way about the game, than it just turned into a giant debate because of ignortant people who bashed COD without even playing it. The title is "If you were dissapointed with BIA HH" and is NOT "BIA Sucks and COD 5 is awesome." I'm am not and was never here to spam my objective was to let other WWII gamers know that COD 5 lived up to the hype and provided a better gaming experience than BIA HH. You've sat there and told me to shut my mouth and stop offering my opinion after you had previously bashed COD 5 when someone else was comparing them in a fair manner. Remember?

"I'm sorry, but I can't agree that WoW is anything but an empty shallow version of CoD 3 running on the Modern Warfare engine. Treyarch is far more capable than this tripe and we all know it. I'm sure that Activision convinced them to make it more to the CoD 4 crowds' liking, but come on...

You obviously believe your opinion is so much more important than everyone elses, so how about cutting the sarcasm and actually telling us what you think and why. I suggest having a little evidence instead of just making generalizations.
