Does anyone know if the co-op in Hells Highway will be muliple players through the story? Or will it be through mission like the ones found in Earned In Blood?

If it's not got CO-OP Campaign then it's not worth buying in my opinion.

The games which offer a couple of standalone CO-OP missions are not worth it really, it's almost like a token CO-OP gesture, as opposed to incorporating CO-OP into the core gameplay.

Thankfully more and more developers are getting it through their heads that a Next-Gen platform should mean Next-Gen functionality and gameplay.

I like playing games with my mates so there's no way that I'll pay for a game that forces me to play through the whole Campaign on my own.
What a lonely way to enjoy a game.
Just like movies are better enjoyed with friends, so are games in my opinion.

I'm sick of hearing about 'great teammate AI' when the best AI you can get is a human next to you - the ultimate in team work!

I completely agree. Looking back on the best memories I've had in gaming, they've all been while playing with a buddy. I saw an interview a while back of Randy Pitchford talking about Earned In Blood, he said that the Gearbox team kind of half assed on Road To Hill 30 as far as multiplayer went. He then continued to say that he thought co-op was an extremely important addition to any game, and that's why they were including it in Earned In Blood. Here's to him sticking with his own opinion and actually pushing the bar foward with co-op in Hells Highway!

That's encouraging then.

If the main man thinks it's an important feature then hopefully he'll be a man of his word and give the CO-OP community what they want.

The game's storyline sounds perfect for incorporating CO-OP into the Campaign so they've got no excuses for not implementing CO-OP properly.....other than laziness of course.

YES!!! CO-OP is basically a nessesary when it comes to games. ask anyone. would you rather have a really cool weapons or co-op story so you can play with your buddies. i can say that 90% of people will take co-op. so i can only wish that they are working co-op into the game properly. and when i say "properly" i mean. do exactly what "Gears of War" and "Halo 3" did. full online story with at LEAST one friend. PLEASE!!! co-op puts the replay value up to almost twice as much. cuz who wouldn't like doing the campaign again with your best friend at your side. after all this is BROTHERS in arms right? fight with your friends, your comrades, your brothers. come on now!!

And i have to agree with oldmrt, games are ment to be played with your friends. not some computer controlled bot running around not doing anything. if you want to up the difficulty, great, with 2 people anything is possible.

Just kidding.

all i gotta say is if they are delaying the game because they are putting co-op in the game. then it will be worth the wait. but if they are just dragging their rear ends then this is retarded.

co-op campaign is a must and necessary!
BIA:HH beckons and demands this sort of play!

It isn't necessary but it would greatly be appreciated. I'm sure if the whole campaign isn't co-op, you will still buy the game.

i think it is necessary!
to be quite honest, co-op campaign is a major factor in me buying BIA:HH.
if it doesn't have it, then it will only be a rental.

Did you play the other games? If you haven't noticed, those were not co-op. Maybe you are not a true fan of these games. Angry

i have only played the first Brothers in Arms game.
as for "BIA:EIB"...haven't played it, though i'm waiting for it to be backwards compatible on the 360

anywyas, i'm merely voicing my opinion in wanting co-op, is that so much to ask for...i think not!

PS. are you upset with me because i said that "i wouldn't buy the game if it didn't have co-op campaign"?

^^if that's the case, then i appologize with open arms and a big kiss for you...i'm sorry!

>>i will now buy the game, regarles if it has co-op or not...I WILL BUY!

thx

These games will most likely never become backwards compatible for the 360 Crying.
And maybe a full co-op story is too much to ask for. It would be reasonable to ask for a little co-op campaign that isn't the single player game because that would be easier to make.

oh come on, where's your optimism?
both BIA games will become B/C..."somday"
^^just think positive and it could very well happen..."maybe"

your right about asking for co-op.
it is stretching it a bit, but i'm a huge supporter of it and that's what i want.

as for it being easier for Gearbox, they are incredibly talented guys that can create a "AAA" game with their hands tied behind their backs, hoping on one leg, singing luciano pavarotti songs (all while eating boxes of hostess cupcakes)
^^yes, they are that talented! bow

I'm not trying to be negative but it is hard not to be. And I would love for there to be some nice co-op missions.
