Hey Guys,

I have tried looking through the forum and just could not find any of this information.. so sorry if this has been discussed and reposted..

So, firstly
Do we know of an official release date for the game, on 360 or ps 3?

Secondly,

what will the multiplayer setup consist of? Will it be like the game (as in orders etc) or more open play like Call of duty

and lastly, will there be the same unlockable historical facts as in the past games?


Personally I'll be getting it on ps3 (sorry 360's.. not having a go at ya ).
I have been playing the ps3 for a longer time recently and am slowly becoming more and more confinced that it may be getting the edge over the 360 (my oppinion, not that of any others nor am I stating that anyone else has this oppinion ).
Pretty gutted though, the 360 has been very loyal to me

360 rocks well over ps3. That said, the game is coming out in August and seemingly there will be great MP battles:

I agree, 360 does rule well over ps3, but from the updates etc that have come through and the impact they have had over the system (and if sony keeps this up) I can see that system wise and service wise the ps3 could come out on top within the next year or two.. heres hoping that the microsoft stays on the ball..

anyway, why has the game been delayed so long??

Nah, man, just gonna say this (since it's off topic): don't let this misinformation and rumours get you. Sony's lineup is weak, Gran Turismo 5 has been delayed to late 2009 if not 2010, probably Killzone 2 won't make it this year, Home has already been delayed for months...And their services will never match Microsoft ones. Microsoft is the most important software company, they know everything about interface, online services and such....Sony simply cannot keep up with that. There will be more announcements coming later this year for Xbox 360.

Back on topic, I think that Gearbox chose to polish the game further and further. They promise to deliver a full fleged single player experience along the lines of previous Brothers in Arms installments, and they are also redesigning multiplayer to be similar to Battlefield or Frontlines with the addition of key franchise features. If they can keep up with these promises, we'll certainly have a winner in august

It was never delayed. August 2008 which was announced a few days ago has been the only confirmed release date by the game's makers.

Hey guys! Thanks for all the info! I just read in a few places (official) that is was due in February, then delayed till June and now august thats all..

in regards to 360, everyone has their own taste and need and certainly see your points.. I think maybe I am just over the 360 and looking for an excuse lol

Get both the 360 and PS3. That's what I did.

lol yea thats what I have got going... as I said, think i am just 360'd out for now.. if at all possible lol but am pretty impressed by the ps3.

  I ask why and the sells-mangers told me that the PS3 way too big to cary around allday..
  
• The big differance between the conslosw are notabl,the 360 is just for the alround gamer which has children and stuff,it's allso a small Personel Computer.Unlike to hte PS3 wich is a die hard killing Platform.....

Console wars. It happens to all forums.
Why can't we all get along? They are both great systems.

that is why i said 'in my eyes" i like the playstion just more then the 360. And don't forget that the 360 was a year earlier on the market then the ps3.

Freeman i or we i this case dont fight a console war or anything else in that matter.
I just told my opinion why the 360 is just a tiny bit beter then the PS3.
But i'll sh*t up right now because i dont wanna recieve any negatory waves

The only thing I don't like about the 360 is the constant fear that the Three Red Lights will appear (Again). But apart from that, I love it to bits

It doesn't bother me. I got the three red lights but it is free repair and they send you a month subscription of Xbox LIVE.

I already had Xbox live when mine broke down, unfortunately it has now run out. I am mostly fearing the red lights because GTA 4 is due out the Tuesday after next, and I have a feeling I will spend a fair amount of time on it.

August? ok I assume they know it still says Mrch on the Front page for the game right? btw ,I just joined today and am really looking forward to this game ,
