I played Brothers in Arms Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood on the PS2. I didn't realize this at the time, but with this version, you miss so much. There is a big difference between this and the Xbox/PC version. Eve nwith this version, the player can still miss a lot. I think that Ubisoft should remake BIA RTH 30 and EIB in 1 package, using all the mechanics and graphics from HH. This includes the dig in cover, commanding MG and bazooka teams, more showing of the death pistol because HH really was the first game to show this when it should have been in the first 2, and long cut scenes showing more in between missions (sort of ike the missions Reunion, The First Bad News, Those we Lost, and Farewell is Goodbye) Also, the deleted mission 9 days earlier could be worked in like in the scene at the base in the beginning of HH. I think that this can give the player a better knowledge of the characters and learn a little bit more before going straight into battle. Characters such as Muzza and Rivas were unknown to me in the game so I felt nothing when they died. I didnt even know who Muzza was until the cutscene in EIB. I didn't even know that Risner was an important character I feel like we should have seen more of him so that when he showed up, he wouldent be just another tank commander who Baker seems to know. Tell me if you agree. I think the players would understand a lot more about HH if Ubisoft made the first 2 games for consols and made the gameplay a lot like HH, with more deph in the story telling.
You know? Yuo're right McNellie!! I like the way you think... Will be fantastic play again RTH30 and EiB with a consolle of new generation and know better the story and the characters... I think it's possible the idea of a remake, anyway...maybe when the series will end...who knows?
iluk i was thinking the same thing u rock iff you read my discussion [BROTHERS IN ARMS VS. CALL OF DUTY] i kind of say the same stuff but i totaly agree it would be kewl to play these games again in better graphics rock on mcnellie
They definately should recreate RTH30 and EIB for all the newer consoles like the 360 and ps3 because I want to play both of those games but, I don't have any of the consoles they were made for except pc, but I once bought EIB for pc and it didn't work.
I heard that COD was doing that for COD modern warfare 2 was going to include the first 2 games. I think this is an extremely untapped market that game companies need to look at. I mean for crying out loud I am trying to get my original xbox to work so that I can play these and other games that are not backwards compatible. I mean there are many of us who love the oldies but goodies and every year more games fall into that category due to trying to up keep a game machine. Like MOH and MOH:UG Still love those to this day but don't know how much longer my PSone is going to last and it ain't easy to fix it compared to my old 286 and 386 computer.
