I have noticed on the forums many people have issues with the third person aspects of the game I.E. the new cover system because its not authentic. after watching the videos ALLOT though
I think I am going to like to cover system. Don't
get me wrong I love the realism of the game but in a way it is more real since it gives you a greater sense of where your body is in relation to the world that you miss in real life like knowing that your shoulder isnt sticking out over the wall and im also glad they are using
third person for the cut scenes now they really look like they will enhance the story telling
and cinematic feel that is one of the main reasons i love this series I just hope baker
isnt a mute anymore in them ala Gordon freeman .

You make a very good point. I can see how it can be used to make you feel more involved with the game.

And Baker wasn't really a mute, he still talked when giving orders and a little in the cutscenes. I've never played Half-Life but I do here that Freeman is like a mute. And my last name is Freeman, oh yeah.

The complaints (from myself, too) have been from when the TPC system was first introduced , a long time ago. As time went by it grew on me and I like it a lot now. This game will kick arse.

I haver to agree with Freeman here, just like him in never played Half life but the first time i saw the the never cover method i was a litle turned down...i wasen't to sure what to think about it so back then i couldent choose if i liked it or not.But times has changed and the rumor is and i'm not sure about it that you can turn of the cover system just like the Red light Danger sight (red filling screem) so we all have to accept the game as it is in August and then set the game as you want it to....hell freeman and i have a Great Birth day pressent

^^^^ Thats pretty much my opinion. I think it will work well, however, I would have preferred some kind of 1st person cover system, in which you still hug up to the cover and you can still look at your body. But you would be able to see the bullets wizz over your head, and you could just pop your head over for a quick look at the enemy. I think that would make it feel a lot more authentic.

Yeah that would be sweet.Nothertheless you are stil able to take cover behind an object as in the previous 2 games, Did you mean something called 'out of body look' if so Hell yeah that would be sweet!

If it is the same as used in rainbow six vegas 2 then its fine with me in that game it works very good.

Wow that would be mint if u would have the option of turning it off, like the redbarron said but who knows i doubt theyll allow you to.

If BIA multiplayer becomes anything like that of Vegas 2 i may have to take my own life. being killed every few seconds by some fool with incendiary grenades or blind fire- its not my idea of fun.
