if your disk is un-readable then you must clean it!--carefully-- i mena, you have to be carefu;; not to scrath it. and like my mon alllway's say's ''if you're done playiong with it, do it in side it box!''

y'know if you paid 60 bucks some a game - you should look out for it!

Hello there, I'm getting this problem also. I too have tried 3 different copies of the game, this is on a 3 month old Xbox 360 Elite, the modern one with improved chip etc. I have tried 4 other games and no unplayable disc error. It just happens randomly throughout play on Brothers in Arms Hells Highway. I've also tried removing the save games as specified on the Microsoft help and support site, plus playing without the hard drive. Still the game will stop randomly stating "Unreadable disc, please clean restart system." Is this a known problem with BIAHH on the 360, if so is there a patch coming out to fix this? In addition I have tried cleaning out all dust from the Xbox 360, it is also in a well ventilated area. Any advice would be most appreciated, as ruling out 360 hardware issues first would be a good first step for me (I would rather not send a 3 month old machine away to man handled if it's not messed up!). Cheers.

Thanks for bring this up. I am also having problems with this same issue and once again it is only this game. All the other work just fine. My 360 is new (2 months old) so this performance should not be the fault of the console. Will there be a patch to fix this issue? This is a VERY frustrating problem when you're in the heat of battle and this disc error happens. The disk is new and has happen on each copy I've tried but once again, only this game.

Both NEW copies straight out of the box did this for me so cleaning the disk is not the end all be all answer. Both the new disc appeared to be in perfect condition. Now what's your answer smarta$$! Most people would clean the disk before wasting their time here getting responses like you wrote!

Thanks for YOUR constructive help but I have tried all these things mentioned in your link (before initially coming here)resulting with the same error ONLY from this game and no others and actually I didn't experience this problem at all when playing on the casual mode only in the veteran or authentic mode. I went back and played again in the casual mode and the error never occurred at all and I replayed ALL the chapters trying to reproduce the error in another mode. I was just now TRYING to playing and the error occurred 3 times in 10 minutes while in Authentic mode. Sometimes I can play an entire objective [in the Authentic mode] and never have a problem then when I advance to the next objective it may do it (show the error) 3 or 4 times. My experience with this error is that it is very inconsistent and unpredictable but once again only with this game. My other recently made games (i.e. COD4 and 5 to name a few) play just fine. This is my reasoning behind thinking it is merely a game issue and not a console issue. I never get this error when initially starting the game, only during game play. This is a GREAT game but this error will make me doubt buying another game [for the 360] by Ubisoft. This is extremely aggravating.
