M1 Carbine
M1a1 carbine(paratrooper model)
M1 garand
M1c garand(late war)
m1d garand(post war)

the letter/number designation doesn't belong to just ONE gun, it only designates the model number. Just like how the m1a1 thompson is the same model number as the m1a1 carbine.
