So I think we need to get this out of the way. What weapons do you hope to see in BIA:HH? I have been wanting to use an M3A1 SMG in a ww2 game. And i have yet to see one. (cod 2, and DOD) Are the only games that have featured this gun.
Yep you are rigth. I hate it in Bia by the way, to less fire power if you ask me. But in Cod2 it was suddenly much more powerfull I loved Gewehr 43 in COD2. But is isn't included in bia. Why not?

and what's up with the thompson and a 20rd. mag. seriously, who's gonna run around with the 20 rd. when you can use the 30rd. and it's more available. Where were you on that one Col. Antel?
I would like to see the lag go away when you fire a fully automatic weapon like in the previous two games, If the game lagged when i fired a BAR in HH , that would be bad
Milogirardet, have you even played the game? The M1 carbine has been available from the very beginnings of both RTH30 and EiB.
TexasRed, the M2 carbine was not developed until after the war ended, and didn't achieve widespread use til Korea. I agree with you on the Thompson mags though. I think they were right to put the 20 rd. ones in RTH30, since they were probably given to the paratroopers on DDay because they were smaller and could be more easily carried with them on a jump or something. But at this stage, they should've switched to the 30 round ones by the time they reached Holland.
But if the Thompson is as good in HH as it was in the first two BiA's, 30 round magazines might be a bit overpowering.
Rifle-grenades would be sweet, but I'd really like to see either the G43, or an improved M1 carbine. The one in EiB and RTH30 was just plain useless. I think it should have a lot less recoil (if any), as that was one of its main advantages over larger-caliber guns like the Garand.
Interesting trivia: The 20-round Thompson mags were often preferable to the 30-round ones because the Thompson's magazine catch wasn't sturdy enough to hold the weight of the 30-rounders, so sometimes, loaded ones would just fall right out
If they're going to take recoil out of a weapon it should be the garand. It has way too much kick for my liking, though I've never fired one so I don't know how accurate that is. I don't really feel like the carbine has any kick at all. I can pump several rounds into any enemy pretty quickly without adjusting aim between shots. The only downside is that it takes more than several to kill one. I think its the most useless weapon in the game (aside from the pistols) but on the other hand my brother is practically a sniper with it.
i think the submachine guns ans the carbine need to be more accurate...i realize that they arent good from a distance but i mean its kinda ridiculous when you find difficulty in hitting the guy who for some reason comes sprinting around the corner and youve got a full thompson mag and are unable to hit him...and no its not because i suck for you smartasses out there...lol
