1: I bet you've thought of this already, but how about using the nunchuck to lean to a side (or back or forward) by tilting it? would be a good feeling peeking around an egde preparing a sneak attack.
2:How about making stuff like running on walls, doing fly-kicks using certain combos of runnning, jumping and tilting the nunchuck properly. another thing would be a "crouch roll" (dunno what it's really called), like in Max payne, rolling around to cover. In other words, add a bit of PoP feeling into the game, and it will be like a modern (in the term of when the story is) Assasins Creed. 3: only one sword, and nunchuck for dodging, all blocking and attacking is done with Wiimote. 4: throwing knifes!!! how awesome isn't it to throw a knife around a corner in a curve??? use the main controller to throw. And, when you're facing a throwing knife that's incoming, you may shoot it, or block it with the sword, making it more a suprise attack weapon, or a "Noob killer" Wink 5: multiplayer modes: Gun modes: ninja, gun, custom and a regular combo ninja= sword, knives, Flash and smoke Gun= guns, and all grenades combo= everything Custom=lets the host decide what weaponry that is allowed Life Modes: Instant death (one hit and you're dead, will be awesome in combination with ninja mode (and pistol only games) and I can't come up with anything just now, but please suggest something you others. Well, just steal whatever modes you want from Goldeneye, as that game's multiplayer pwned. 6: if you're going to add RPG into the game, I would love if there's an assasination part (a real one too, not just 3 things or so) which will maybe give access to techniques like poison darts, better wall running, better dark vision, and some more. further, a good weapon related skill tree would also be swell, allowing better weapons, dual wielding of various weapons, slow-motion techniques (well, this one can also be in assasination, but as an assasin, you shouldn't need it), and hopefully some more. I bet a lot of this is already thought of, or maybe even in the plans for the next game, but please take these suggestion in consideration. As for the rest of you forumers, please state some suggestions as well. |

If they make Red Steel 2. they should include online play and swords in multi-player.

If they make Red Steel 2, it should have at least a 16 player online and more maps for multiplayer including sword fighting in multiplayer. Get a PS3 if you want a tilt control.

some of the original poster's ideas just do not seem to fit into what Red Steel represented.
It isn't Tenchu, it is an own game and all these stunts do not fit into it, as they do not match the level of realism RS has established. This game felt more like an playable action movie that uses some Samurai like honor elements. |

My suggestions for Red Steel 2 would be refine the gun control's PLZ!! That was a HUGE set back for the game. Maybe take some pointers from High Voltage's The Conduit for the gun slinging aspect of this game. As for sword play it Now with the WiiMotion Plus sword play can and will be everything we wanted it to be in the first one. This time TURE 1:1 sword play will make this game MUCH better. As for online I would like to see a multiplayer component to it, heck even some leader boards on lvl times. Something at least give us SOME online with this. The Wii brags about it being connecting 24/7 well use it! We have WiiSpeak as well can we incorporate that? allow for the adding of friend codes by actually TALKING to the person and getting it. Just alot of suggestions on how to make this game a REAL AAA title.
