I'm not sure it this is a wide spread problem or if it's just me, but I'll post it anyway in case it'll help someone.
I've been having problems playing Red Steel because my aiming would occasionally "freak out" and flash back to the center of the screen. After close examination of the mechanics of the wiimote + sensor bar I notice that the sensor bar are nothing but two lights. After viewing them on the wii system calibration screen, I noticed them blinking. My hypothesis is that the blinking of the lights kept throwing the games aiming off. To test this, I set up a flash light next to the sensor bar and notices that my wiimote actually picked it up and it was not blinking! So, I covered one end of the sensor bar with a piece of paper and put a flash light right next to it. I fired up Red Steel and to my surprise, it worked flawlessly! Try it, see if it doesn't make your game run better! |
