I am a huge AC fan and after playing AC4 I was discussed with the crappy PA system they stuck in the game and the fact that you had to balancing out your AC weight? what the hell where they thinking. putting those two systems in degraded the game from AC: Last Raven.

Please for the love of AC fans, leave those two elements out of the game. They are most worthless elements ever put into the game series. But leave in the full customization of ACs and put back the Armor Damage feature from Last Raven. ADD new parts, weapons, and Cores.

also one suggestion, try to add two handed weapons like assault rifles, sniper rifles, SMGs, etc. Its just something I would look forward too in the game.

Ubisoft has nothing to do with whats in the game and also theirs nothing wrong with PA and how the weight is done. All I ask out of Ubisofts is please stay on top of the regulations and don't favor 360 over PS3.

The biggest reason why I do not like the PA system cause it makes it like every other mech game, mechs with shields unstoppable ACs the PA shield system makes the game seem like a scifi game and as far as I remember AC wasn't an extreme scifi game with shields and stuff.

As far as I remember the game was some what modern or should I say less extreme with going all out, what I mean is if you run the entire series with out having a stupid Shield system(The game was great that way) why all of a sudden give mechs stuff like that it makes no sense, plus you lower the armor on the ACs when that shield system is off? what gives, thats like saying that the ACs before where better than the ones now!! I know some people don't have the same opinions as I do, but come on why do that? Giving mechs shields big laser guns that blow up cities and whatever else you could think of that is very Gundam Wing related(no offense to Gundam fans).

It seems that they are pushing this game the wrong way, adding this new balance thing is awful cause now it slows down my speed to maneuver from left to right?(dont see why they add that now!!) I say that whoever changed their idea at From Software needs to stop with this PA and other bogus systems they stick in, the original idea was fine.

Was pretty cool till they add shields, I'm sure a lot of AC fans do not like some of the new ideas and some that do. I'm just laying it out there for the fans who don't.

Plus I still think that Last Raven will beat this game still by a long shot, indeed the graphics look impressive but I'm sure its the same bad game play as AC4.

( honestly a light wieght AC shouldnt still stand after a direct grenade blast. so the only way to justify that is to add some sort of forcefield facter, wich how ever laughable, is still justified. in addition we are talking about a JAPANESE based game. in wich MOST/ALL mecha/robotic anime is based out of japan. something you dislike is showing up in a MAJORITY of the current mecha/anime. why wouldnt it also show up in a mecha type game. if you dont like where its going then atleast you have a heads up, and can choose NOT to purchase this game. but keep in mind. ranting/complaing/hating on an AC game in an AC based forum is a badd idea. like driving AGAINST the traffic and yelling at everyone for NOT getting out of YOUR way. metaphoricly speakeing. )

true, but how else am I going to get a post out there to get to the gaming community to change their idea of what they are doing to a series. If you have another way, without someone ignoring a post I'd be glad to know. As far as I know this is being ignored but, for future information for other people that have problems with a known series, tell me how am I going to get my voice across a company. As far as some people know most gaming companies ignore e-mails and give you a default response. I know some companies look over their e-mails. But as far as I'm concerned trying to state something on a blog or forums site, usually most checked by game designers or publishers and users. Another thing is I have no clue how to get a hold of Form Software without going through Japaneses text and foreign languages.
IF the company can give me some information on how to contact them with out having the public dis on thread that is trying to reason or give a suggestion on how to build the game, please do tell me for further references and for others that may not like this new change to a game or this one.

PS. I had no problems with heat management, if players want to play a game like zoe, then play zoe, don't go and ruin a good series. Plus i don't think PA was necessary due to the fact that most weapons could be dodged and avoided. I still see no reason to stick in a PA system except for the online game play.

I just didm't get how the whole balancing thing worked.

But AS for the PA, Ya should check the demo cuz the way it works has been greatly improved!

Were it appeared NOT to be on all the time & required your mech to stop and transfer ALL it EN into it?

To tell you the truth what they should do is have 2 armor types PA or AP, players with AP have no accessibility to the PA shield system, but have access to the external and internal uses like in Armored Core: Last Raven. PA system would be the same like in AC4 but have all the new features. Thus giving a player a choice to play classic or PA. Plus if you are putting in classic you should have the damage system like in Last Raven, so that the game doesn't feel like its a down grade and makes it into an upgrade combining the two systems. Plus if you are playing classic remove the weight balancing, cause that would just ruin the whole positive negative effects on what type of core and style you play.

The nexts are cool and all but they lack the variaty & AC feel!
I mean if they do it like this they cater for ALL our needs AND we'll probably be able to get that GOOD OLD AC feel BACK!

And I mean this will even open up the way to cool new online modes ... like a hero based one
Where its say a fairly big amount of normals VS. 1 NEXT!
And the every 1 gets a turn to pilot a next!

BUT MOST importantly I just wish the normals in the game would ACTUALY LOOK AND REACT like dam NORMALS!!!

and when I got close they made NO attempt to move away or even just use a blade!

you know what you might be right about them not listening, but at least I'm giving my opinion out and also representing the people that do not like the new systems.

Reason why I don't like the new weight system is that it slows down a medium setup mech used for all round fights. So it turns out that now semi-heavy weapons also effect how much you can carry but now I have to worry about what side I stick it on and if I balanced out my mech? That would be fine if I didn't have to worry about PA or the fact that it slows my mech down when I put on these weights to balance out my AC or NEXT whatever you call them now. Don't know why they changed the name of the mechs too(might as well call the game NEXT instead of Armored Core, since you don't play an Armored Core). Plus with the weight system now it makes it like a mech with a medium load out now acts like a heavy. Plus also effects your boost and just lows it down causing players to use up more energy. Now if they fix the weight system so that balancing it doesn't cause this, this would be interesting to mess with. They just need to dub down the whole weight balancing for the movement cause it causes mechs to be degraded too much for some mid sized weapons that should have some effect or no effect at all.

Plus why do the weights of the balancing system have to be external? What is the point looking at the weights on the back of your mech? I can understand some, but they over did it in AC4. They should of had some internal balances instead of having all this stupid looking weights on your mech.

Some people think this game is upgrade from the previous AC games. Yes that is true to some extent.Graphics, yes. Game play, no. Its like they back tracked and went another way that the series was originally going.I think the series was best when From Software was with Age Tech.

Why do people keep mentioning that I didn't put any effort in the game at all, I bought the damn thing doesn't that imply that I bought it cause I wanted it?

And plus I don't need people pointing out that I didn't develop the game, well no crap!! People put hard work building good games or crappy ones. I'm plenty sure game developers take plenty of time putting it together, but some new game mechanics just don't work sometimes.

PS. If your confused on what weight system I'm posting about its the weight transfer system not the basic weight system on how heavy your mech is.

Instead of complaining and whining... You should learn some tips on how to play AC4 before you waste you money on AC4A, just so I can lay you down...

Tips:

1. stfu... LoL...

2. Weights allow customization increases to your NEXT. If you decide to have a negative Y-axis score, then you can actually increase your boosting speed forward... Make sense... If your X-Axis is balanced off, then put weights on the opposite size that is effected... Also how about you learn better QB(quick boost) skills and just turn to where you wanna go??? Makes sense huh??? Or become a newb again (which you seemed to have already accomplished) and AUTO IT...

3. What??? You don't like the fact that you can see what you add onto your NEXT external armor??? Then how about you just pick your favorite guns, and they just put blocks in your hands to represent weapons, or how about nothing at all??? You like ghosted weapons?

4. Read the manual that comes with the game... Cause obviously you aren't a professional... And just cause you might of played every game doesn't make you a professional ... I can take my car and race is on the drag strip... But that doesn't make me a professional dragster...

5. Try to get enrolled in a nice Art School, and learn to make the game you like to play for YOU... And have fun playing online against yourself...

6. Stop posting on the UbiSoft "Armored Core 4 Answer" forum, and move your topics to the new game forum that Agetech made for you... "Fluffed Core 4 Complainers"... LoL...
