I just wonder if there are any former members of the Screaming Eagles around here?

I served with the 101st from Oct 88-Jul 90 with 2-502d Infantry. The same regiment that BiA is based upon.

My unit was the most decorated battalion on post and was recognized numerous times for bravery during WWII and Vietnam.

Every time I see a soldier wearing a 101 patch, my eyes always gravitate to that soldier.

I find it interesting at how the 101st has gone back to the WWII tradition of placing a card suit (i.e. heart, diamond, club, spade) on their helmet that represents their particular regiment.
