Odd sort of thing, but a part of WW 2 history all the same:

Picture some poor dog face or marine in his foxhole when suddenly, from out of the jungle darkness, he hears what sounds like Mickey Mouse screaming 'Banzai!!!' as the Japanese charged...

He would've thought the dirty rat had gone over to the enemy. Walt Disney would've been lynched, Disneyland never built and generations of North American kids wouldn't have had the Magic Kingdom to enjoy on family vacations...

Now THAT would've been a devastating blow, if the Japanese had only thought to strike it.
