The Dutch observe May 5th as Liberation Day.

The significance of the date is because the Commander-in-Chief of all German forces in the Netherlands formally surrendered his command to the Canadian Army in the Dutch town of Wageningen on May 5th, 1945.

Man, the parade in Holland was really boring Veryhappy. I was only interested in those bombers and planes.
