In my big 5 paper I got today they have a
Lee Enfield No. 4 Mk.1 "Genuine WWII issue rifle" for $99. My question is did the british actually use this rifle in WW2 or was it in WWI because They also have a Mk.II right? I was also wondering if this is a good deal or can I et it cheaper. It is in pretty good condition

The No.4 MKI was the standard issue British rifle for most of WWII. The No.1 MKIII was also used pretty extensively, especially early in the war, and even later by many Commonwealth troops.

I can't really say if $99.00 is a good price or not since I haven't seen the rifle. I own four
No. 4 MKI rifles and four No.1 MkIII rifles, all are in what would be considered excellent condition, and I paid about $120.00 ea. for them, but I can buy from the wholesaler/importer direct rather than from a retailer like Big 5. My guess is that the rifle you are talking about probably cost Big 5 around $69.00, which would put it at the lower end condition wise in regards to Enfields.
