Question:
I am a huge patriot and history buff. I am also a huge fan of the Brother is Arms series. I must have Played the whole series a good 30 times or more. I am writing about a very good book called Brotherhood of Heroes written by author Bill Sloan. It is about the marines at Peleliu in 1944. I was hoping I could persuade gearbox to make a new Brothers in Arms series based on the 5th marines that are in this book . They fought in every major battle in the pacific theater. There are a lot of movies and games based on the war in Europe but there are not any on the battles in the pacific, not any good ones that I know of. I believe there should be a movie or game based on these men as soon as possible. The veterans of WWII are dying rapidly now and I think we need to take advantage of their first hand experience in the battles they fought while we still can.
In the end of the book, Brotherhood of heroes, the author talks about the first attempt to contact a veteran of the battle at Peleliu. He saw in the newspaper an article about a Man name Bock and a website where he could look up info about the man. He got a number and called Bock’s house to see if he could get an interview. Bock’s wife answered the phone and explained that he had died two months earlier. She gave him some names that sent him on his way to getting in touch with veterans of that battle which helped him write the book. The point is that there are a lot of people with vital information to tell the right story and the whole story that are dying and I think gearbox should do something because they have the power to. I feel it would be a crime not to tell the story of these men. I doubt they will see this I understand they are very busy but if they do receive this, please read the book I mentioned. It is one of the most inspiring books I have ever read, and these men deserve some acknowledgement. I am not very good at writing so I am going to include a review someone put on the military book club web site to sum it up a bit. If you do receive this letter please let me know.

Every post helps so if you agree with me feel free to say something. If were lucky maybe they will see this.

BROTHERHOOD OF HEROES
Riveting!
Bill Sloan tells the story of this unbelievably intense struggle with clarity, compassion and respect. He is fair to both sides without being an apologist for either. His narrative brings to life many of the men who fought on this god-foresaken island. Theirs is a story of uncommon courage amidst despicable conditions. What warriors! -- Bill Staehle, Basking Ridge, NJ

Choices:
you would like to see this made into a game
Don't care
Stick with European theater
