Does anyone know who "Sgt. Matt Baker" really was? I've been trying to find who he is for a while witrh no luck, I was hoping one of you guys would know somekind of answer, or where to find one. Thanks
I did some research on SSgt and later Lt. Harrison Summers, and here are a few interesting facts I found.

S/Sgt and later Lieutenant Harrison C. Summers of B/502 was the legendary hero at the 'XYZ' complex Mesieres, France, on D-Day. He was a one man army and received the D.S.C., although some of his buddies thought he should have received the Congressional Medal of Honor. A coal mine inspector from West Virginia, Summers was a modest man-S.L.A.Marshall described him as "laughing boy in uniform". But one of his buddies says: "He was a Tiger in combat- he really went after those Germans!" In addition to his D.S.C., Summers received two Purple Hearts for German machinegun fire, which ripped through his chest and back in Holland and again at Bastogne.
-He was in the '30 kills a day club'. ( sort of self explanatory)
-He survived the war and returned to civilian life as a coal mine inspector in his home state of West Virginia.
-His highest honor was the Distinguished Service Cross (second highest U.S. military honor) despite the efforts of his former comrades to have him awared the Congressional Medal of Honor after his death in the 1980's.
-There is a bridge in West Virginia that was named in his honor.
