ok in the late stages of market gardan the british troops were surrounded by german armor and troops but say if there was 8 brit para trapped in a buildin wit a panzer 6 outside they havnt got piats or any anti armor wepons just a few grenades and light arms why dont they run out throw a few grenades to confuse the tank crew then clime on top of it drop a few grenades down the hatch and jump of and walla 1 dead tank this could work? you guys heard of anyone whos done this?

tanks don't travel alone, they have infantries or grenadiers...

That's pretty risky isn't it? Anyway i agree ragingpaseo's post,tanks don't travel alone,so its kinda impossible to do that.

yes but what if you throw a few smokes to confuse everyone then when nobody see you you drop the grenade into the tank

Let me quote the Matrix: "You see an Agent, you do what we do: run. Run your ass off." The same goes for tanks, unless you are properly equipped.

i odnt know if you guys already knew this or not but...armor hatches are locked when the tank is in use to prevent that exact senario from happening.

saving ryan's private is a movie, and an inaccurate one as well...i have never heard of 2 panthers and 2 tigers cover by a platoon...

somke grenade can mask your attack, but you still have to go through the infantries. not to mention, if you're lucky to knock out one tank, what about the others? going to run back to your side of the line and make it back in one piece?

and yes, the hatch is locked from the inside. would you buy a car without a lock??

well i spose its like something from a hollywood war movie even if you had the capability to take it out your buggerd any way becouse the infantries and you get past them your just geting more germans heading your way
