In the end sequence of the newly released EIB video (http://www.gametrailers.com) a direct Panzerfaust hit from the side does not destroy the tank. I guess you'll have to hit it 50 times to destroy it, like in BIA. Do you guys have any clue how powerful the real Panzerfaust was? Could that Panzer in the video withstand the impact in real life???

Thanks WSA...According to the info you provided a Panzerfaust should destroy a tank hit from the side at close range in 1 shot.
And yes, I know, I know, EIB is just a game...

I don't have a console for the demo..but yeah..one hit kill would be too quick..gme would be over too quick if things done accurately.

What type of tank was it..sherman,stuart?

A panzerfaust should take a German tank out with eas because they were made to kill there own tanks, as the only tanks to do their tests on were their's (or did the Germans ask the US to give them a Sherman dummytank for practise? )

The germans usually used knoicked out Russian t-34's (or other captured armoured vehicle) not their own.
