Basically:

101st Airborne is the division

502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment is a component of the 101st Airborne Division, as were the 501st and 506th Parachute Infantry Regiments, along with the 327th Glider Infantry Regiment and various other support units such as engineers and field artillery units.

Parachute Infantry denotes troops who jump battle as opposed to glider infantry who rode into battle in gliders.

Further each parachute infantry regiment is made up of three battalions

1st Battalion = A Company, B Company and C Company

2nd Battalion = D Company, E Company, and F Company

3rd Battalion = G Company, H Company, I Company

Basically every infantry regiment, whether it is parachute, glider or foot infantry has an E Company.

No, the 501st, 502nd, and 506th are Parachute Infantry Regiments. Each regiment in turn was made up of three battalions.
