?! I guess you're refering to the challange "FLASH" and the password "THUNDER" here. The whole of the 101st Airborne used this challange/password for the first couple of days or so of the invasion . It was not specific to the 506PIR

He put is it based on BOB or SIMILAR yes it is simlar .. the 506th jumped into normandy on june 6th just like the 502nd
