Same with the US Thomson. Is the little bolt on the right side of the gun supposed to be pulled back after reloading? IF so BIA missed this as well. (RE4 had the bolt pulled back for the Thomson)
To prepare the 1911-A1 pistol for firing, you must insert the loaded magazine and draw the slide to the rearward position and let her fly home. If you have emptied a mag already and the slide is locked in the rearward position, indicating that it is empty, you insert the fresh mag and depress the slide release button. "The chamber" is actually in the breech end of the barrel, and is where the cartridge is fired from.
For the Thompson sub-machine gun, which fires from an open bolt. You insert the fresh magazine and pull the charging handle back. With the pull of the tigger the bolt will fly forward, strip the top round from the top of the mag, chamber, fire, ectract, eject the spent casing, and then start the process all over until the trigger is let go.
Hope this helps
