Just to add to the thread, The 17th airborne were a very late-coming paratrooper div. They were training through D-day and market garden and made their appearance in Ardennes. Very short service timefor ww2, '44-'45.

Ok thx guys.I was confused bout this cuz i never saw this division in Normandy or Market Garden.

Lt.nixon on BoB jumped with the 17th airborne. and on medal of honour airborne you get to jump with the 17th in the final missions

They fought in Operation Varsity...somewhere in Germany, I think...

true m1 thbey werent in such harsh conditions of the 101st but they fought

the Ardennes is in Bastogne, I was just pointing it out. I wasn't saying anything relating to how hard they fought. -M1
