A couple of months ago, I went to a machine gun shoot in Knob Creek kentucky and they had a private range where collectors shot their guns and a rental range where some collectors let the public shoot their weapons (for a fee of course). I posted the vidoes on GoogleVideo, so let me know how it works. Here is a link

Also, there is a video of the collector's range firing, if your interested.

you sort of answered your own question, although I don't alot about firing guns Im pretty sure the gun has very strong recoil and might knock him over.

p.s. what kind of machine gun was being fired?

"War is hell, but war is also mystery and terror and. In truth war is also beauty. You stare out at tracer rounds unwinding through the dark. The fluid symmetries of troops on the move. The sheets of metal-fire down from a gunship, the illumination rounds, It's astonishing. You hate it,yes, but your eyes do not. Any battle or bombing raid has absolute moral indifference- a powerful beauty. and a true war story will tell the truth about this, though the truth is ugly.

He was putting his fist behind my dad's shoulder. It was because peoeple normally fire the MGs without any reguard to accuracy. As you can see I was firing in bursts and one long burst.

In which video are you talking about? If your talking about the 3rd Video on Google video, that was just a whole bunch of Machine Guns. They also had a GE Minigun there too.
