The project was made to celebrate the 60th anniversary of 8 May. It's a Russian project but translated in English, you can find veterans of the great patriotic war, but you can also, and that's the most interesting part i guess, watch a presentation: "the Great Patriotic war: how it was"

The Pobediteli project

The presentation covers the progress on the eastern front event by event and has some audio from witnesses and veterans (translated of course).

Excellent, how you found this! the entire barborossa operation. You can see the Pincher technique used on every pocket of resistance. We all talk about the western front, but who really knows why the germans lost the war? nicely done, Raccoon_2.This will fill in the blanks for those who think they know, but know nothing at all

I used to look up info on German and axis troops. But I'm recently looking for all sorts on info on communism, stalin, the cold war, modern russia and the great patriotic war. That's how I found this by accident.

Right now the im at the battle for stalingrad on Pobediteli and barbarossa has failed because the german supplies have been cut because they advanced too fast and the Soviets industrial facilities remain intact uncaptured. If UBI was gonna create another installment it should definently be on the russian front.

I would like that too (but first Brothers in arms must be finished, 8 May 1945 is still 'far' away).
