I was wondering if anyone out there has seen "Saints and Soldiers." I cant seem to find it to rent and wondering if it's worth buying. Please dont mention any detials of the movie.

You can buy it, but better is to rent it. I've sent it at netflix.

It's a so so war movie, not much action, but a good story line.

"The Thin Red Line" is much much better if u r looking for IIww movies. Saint And Soldiers r only okey. Better wait and watch it in TV... however they have nice homepage

Rent Das Boot or Stalingrad instead. Great movies from the German point of view.

Saints and Soldiers was good. Although there was one huge historical innaccuracy in the movie that kind of ruined it for me.

I bought it a month ago...
Pretty good film, but I prefer Band of Brothers and Saving private Ryan. The uniforms in Saints and Soldiers are better then the uniform used in Saving private Ryan. They were Fixed-Bale helmets, and even D-bales!
