Photographer Joe Rosenthal, who won a Pulitzer Prize for his immortal image of six World War II servicemen raising an American flag over battle-scarred Iwo Jima, died Sunday. He was 94.

ohhhh......sad......its Iwo To on September 1st as Iwo Jima's resident ar REALLY MAD and steven speisburg for his movies...Wow...

Rosenthal died years ago.

It is weird though with so many of the men who fought on Iwo being in the news recently.
