what anois me the most is that in the game some of the characters are whereing m1 carbine pouches and carrying the m1 garand, this is not right as they should be carrying the carbine, with the thompson you should have ither the 5 pocket poutch or the 8 clip mag bag, evern the BAR you should have the bar belt, plus on d-day it self the gas mask bag would of bean ditched! correct me if im wronge?in Brothers in arms earned in blood you have the new weapon which is the greaser gun which should take 30 rounds of 45.acp but it only takes 20? i think the game in ovral is wicked but wish they could sort little things like this? and i hoped they sorted the 30cal if this is in the new game ( the empty rounds should eject from the bottom of the breach! if this has helped then thats cool but if im wronge please inlighten me?

i no that they didnt carry there meat cans in there doughboys? also you no the thompson,BAR the thompson should be semi automatic and ful auto? And the BAR should be full, and slow rate of fire, if you get what i mean. cheers
Actually Big red, if you do some research, you will see it is common for paratroopers who carry the M1 to put ammo in carbine ammo pouches. The pouch holds 2 en blocs perfectly, if you dont belive me, try it. The crack a book, and glance through it. And again with the BAR, the magazines were often carried in the pockets, about 3 per bottom jacket pocket, and then the the bellows (trouser) pockets, could hold quite many of them. Again, with a little research, the gas mask bags seemed to have hung on for a little while after D Day with some troops. Look at it, its a perfect little tote for all your valuables, cigarettes, and ammo. Pictures tell it all. Its called the Grease gun, not greaser gun, thats that BS movie talk. By the way, the game isnt about the 1st ID, so all research pertaining to the 1st ID has no effect on this game at all.

I agree. I find this annoying as well. The game is lots of fun, but for us history buffs, those little touches make the game that much better.
I think it's funny how some of the Fallschirmjager have MP-40 pouches when they're carrying a rifle, or MP-44 pouches if they're carring an FG-42. Yikes!
