Which is better MP44 or the B.A.R? I say the B.A.R.

I would go for the STG44 simply because they are not the same category of weapon. the BAR is very heavy in is only really useful to surpress a position. It fires rifle rounds so is increadibly powerful at reasonable range yet increadibly hard to control.

The STG was in reality the first assault rifle so it is a much better all rounder. Not as powerful but much easier to get a close spread at 200m which is the range that mose encounters take place at. It is also lighter and therefore puts less strain on the soldier and allows them to carry more supplies or ammo. It also lets them go into buildings without complication. I would like to see someone try and room clear with a BAR
